Frequently asked questions
by paranoid parents. (with good reason)

What is the cost?
The camp is completely free.  If people wanted to donate to the camp, that's great, but they make it free so that anyone who wants to be a part is able to.  How can it be free?  Because there are many generous churches and individuals that believe this is a ministry worth investing in. if you would like to find out more about supporting the camp click here.

Where is the camp?

Who are the camp counselors?
All of the camp counselors are older teens and young adults that the camp directors know personally and have background checks as well as Pastoral references on.  They have to go through an entire week's worth of training just to be able to counsel.  They are not paid to be here, so its not just a job to them.

Should my kids bring extra spending cash?
T-shirts ($10) and snack shop items are available. A couple dollars a day is plenty for snacks. Free snacks are also available.

Can they bring friends?
Yes! You are our best advertisement!

Where will the kids be sleeping?
There is lodge style sleeping for the kids.  Boys and girls will be separated and will be in bunk rooms with up to 10 kids.  Each room will have 2 camp counselors supervising the kids throughout the week.

What, when and where will they eat?
3 square meals a day and snacks at the camp.  We strive to provide good food and GREAT nutrition, with considerations for allergies and special needs.

What type of medical personnel do they have on site?
There is medical personnel on site for each camp.  Plus, the camp directors and many camp counselors, many of which are lifeguards or first responders, who are there to supervise the campers.
The ER is only 8 minutes away.

Will they be transported to any other location?
NO! Have you seen the price of gas? Just kidding. We do not transport campers off of camp property. (unless stated in your camp's description or what to bring letter)
